Master studies continues, Meyers works are out of this world, it was interesting to study this brown rat, this subject is lit from top hence the shadow is shown right below the subject and the tiny fur is something really enjoyed working on. In an age where there were no photographs available, it is commendable that these fine artists took such pain to record these subjects. This could be one reason that these subjects are full of life even though they were stuffed animals or dead animals at the time they were drawn!
