When i had moved into my new home, this place was buzzing with birdlife, especially the bulbuls, these days i get to watch parakeets, jungle myna's, sunbirds,prinia's, spotted owlets and occasionally the barn owl. Spotting bulbuls is becoming more and more difficult. With decreasing farmlands around my place, food shortage might have driven these birds to far off lands.
During one of my walks around Rampura lake had managed to click this image and later yesterday night spent few hours pondering on the paper about this so called common bird!
