It's been long summer, humid, sweaty and with lots of power cuts.Good news is we have received few rains since last week, some respite from the heat and humidity. My working hours have been erratic hence the lull in my art studio however have managed to make few black and white works during this period. Have been spending 2 hours in the morning on weight training after many years, lost 3kgs already, getting fit for monsoon. Black kites have been frequently visiting my balcony for water, hence making many study sketches and works on them at the moment. Birds of Bangalore project is on hold at the moment, hopefully i will start working on this project again soon!

Trying out Vandyke Brown sticks for few study sketches, really like their smooth movement on the paper and off course the charcoal adds some depth.Fast sketches are really fun to work with, though i am slow on working on the fast sketches as well. Until next time, keep watching!
