Morning walk across the Rampura Lake watching Rose ringed parakeets flying by these Ragi fields makes me feel so happy. Those long stretching fields provide great food source not only to these parakeets, they also support Silver bills, Prinia's,Myna's and occasionally have spotted Baya weavers. A Greater coucal pair is a resident here. It's ironic in a way, slowly the lake is getting filled up, waders are been pushed to middle of the lake, on the other hand early mornings and evenings the other winged friends are making full use of the absences of any human soul.
Sitting in this field i have made few study sketches and this is one of them, hope you enjoy this one, as much has i've enjoyed making them?
I've been here in the summer's when its bright like gold and now during monsoon when its all green. Before the rain God's shower their blessing on me, i better get going back home and continue my daily routine! Until next time then, have a great weekend ahead.
