June 7th 2014 Saturday.Birding at Hoskote Lake. Left home by 5:30 am and after going round and round, finally reached the lake at 7.00 am. Weather: Partially cloudy, bright and sunny after 9:30 am. Unfortunately lots of borewells have been dug up at the fringes of the lake to support vineyards. Lots of plastic and other waste are found opposite to the temple where there are stone steps. to get down to the lake. With all these, Hoskote Lake is still excellent birding destination. Birds spotted today.
